Connect Instagram Solo (Direct Login)

Connect your Instagram Business account directly to Sindria without linking a Facebook Page.

Prerequisites

  • An Instagram Professional (Business or Creator) profile.
  • Direct login credentials for the Instagram account.

Implementation Steps

Ensure a Professional Instagram Profile

Your Instagram account must be switched to Business or Creator. In the Instagram app, go to Settings > Account Type and Tools > Switch to Professional Account.

Connect Instagram Solo in Sindria

Open Sindria, go to Social Connections, and select 'Connect Instagram Solo' (Method B). This uses the direct Instagram Login API.

Login and Authorize

Enter your Instagram username and password in the secure Meta window, and click authorize to grant Sindria permission to post on your behalf.

Enable for Planning

Check the Instagram box or toggle the option in the social networks section so it gets automatically included in your next monthly content planning. Remember that you can always manually customize the target networks for each individual post.

What is the difference between connecting via Facebook and connecting Solo?
Connecting via Facebook (Recommended) allows you to publish to both Facebook Pages and Instagram simultaneously, and provides richer analytics. Connecting Solo only grants access to Instagram, but is perfect if you do not have or want a Facebook Page.
Can I connect a Personal Instagram account using this method?
No. Meta does not support automated posting for personal Instagram accounts. You must switch to a Business or Creator account.
